You are viewing Cheat Codes for LMA Manager 2004 System : Xbox Date Added : 2004-08-19 16:19:50 Views : 15293 Scout Reports You only actually pay for a scout when you use them... so there's little point in sacking a really good scout because you're not guaranteed that they will be available again when you really need them. Keep them employed, rest-assured that they're not costing you anything unless you actually use them! Also... you can have multiple scouts on the same scout mission (i.e. scout next opponent), and they will all provide different results for you to look at before the game. BUT, there is only one scout report available on the actual match-day and that goes in order from scout#1 thru to scout#5... so make sure your best scout (full player full tactical awareness) is scout#1..! Division 3 starting wage budgets The wage budget will increase by 20% every season as long as you complete the objective (promotion, avoid relegation etc. etc), have a healthy bank balance and the sponsors are providing a steady income. As such... if your starting a career from division 3 here is a list of starting wage budgets for all the teams. Hull City................£22700 Huddersfield Town........£21781 Northampton Town.........£20400 Oxford United............£18883 Mansfield Town...........£18791 Boston United............£17181 S****horpe United........£15410 Torquay United...........£14605 Swansea City.............£14536 Macclesfield Town........£14559 Rochdale.................£13892 Lincoln City.............£13340 Cheltenham Town..........£12466 York City................£12443 Darlington...............£12374 Bury.....................£12236 Kidderminster............£11523 Bristol Rovers...........£11224 Southend United..........£10833 Doncaster Rovers.........£10833 Cambridge United.........£8260 Yeovil Town..............£6830 Leyton Orient............£6370 Quick way to make extra money I find it amazing how many people don't do this simple thing to make money... especially for lower-league clubs. If you have spare places in your squad then towards the end of the season promote as many of your youth players into your first team. You cannot sell any players in their first year of their contract... but come the start of the next season when the transfer window opens they can be put up for sale. Depending on value you can make quite a bit of cash easily and quickly... and more importantly promoting youth team players usually means their wages are on the low side (so you don't have to worry about paying a huge wage bill until they're sold!). Pro's : Potential quick increase in money. Pro's : The size of the youth squad is always replenished at the start of the next season... so this isn't just a one-season increase! Pro's : Wages for youth-team promoted players are negligible, so there's no worry about blowing your wage bill. Con's : You will not be able to buy anyone else until there is some free spaces in the first team! (but this has never happened to me and I've played about 30 seasons [not the same game mind!].
